This is a REALLY popular add-on for couples who value photography above all else, but would like some video coverage throughout the day as well. The beauty of modern mirrorless cameras today is that they can switch from photo to video modes (with all the right settings switching too) with the flick of a switch. This allows us to shoot "hybrid" - a term meaning capturing both photo/video in the same session.
Why Do You Strongly Recommend A Second Photographer?
Because we don't want to have to choose which moments to capture on photo and which to capture on video. Having a second photographer means we can switch off who captures what and at what time. This is critical for hybrid shooting. Although it is possible to book a highlights video add-on with just one photographer, it will mean fewer delivered images as a compromise.
